There are normally many things to work through after having gone through a divorce. The nature of these can be highly varied, but can often include things like discovering your self-identity, assertiveness, effective communication, grief, resentment/anger, balance of power and your unbearable feelings.
One thing’s for sure – if you want to gain control of your life again, and in particular if you want to begin another relationship, you owe it to yourself, your family/children, friends and future partner, to discover what ‘baggage’ you’re carrying and how exactly to rid yourself of it.
