Grief.

At its core, grief is about making friends with some form of disappointment. This could be as severe as losing a life-long spouse, companion or friend, or could be as ‘mild’ as changing jobs or moving house or towns, or even the loss of a pet. Time certainly plays a part in grief recovery, but left untouched or unattended to, grief can lead to things like resentment, bitterness, isolation and pessimism. Like most emotional health issues, grief can be overcome. Help is available, don’t go it alone.
