Pre-Marriage.

Time invested before marriage is the best investment an engaged couple could make. Pre-Marriage counselling is typically six sessions in duration. Topics covered would include expectations (of the relationship, each other), concerns you have, balance of power, negotiation skills, pretend agreements (and how to avoid them), finding each others’ unbearable feelings, sexual understanding/expectations of one another. It would be ideal for the married couple to return for a check-up after three months, and then after nine months of marriage.
