The School of Living Wisdom, written and designed by David Riddell – Pastoral Counsellor, Author and Dean of the Living Wisdom Study Centre – provides the training and workout our mind needs, to assist getting it into great shape.

This unique two-week course teaches basic competencies to anyone with a desire to improve their own life, heal the lives of their family/friends, and acquire basic helping/counselling skills for the wider community. Described affectionately as ’a check-up from the neck-up’, and ’uncommonly common sense’; it has been widely attended by more than 2,000 students worldwide from all walks of life, over the past 10 years.

The course’s basis and main thrust is on and about Mental and Emotional Health. Some of the course stems from Christian values and beliefs, but as long as you remain open-minded you won’t find it offensive in any way. There have been many people who have had no religious or spiritual beliefs who have benefited enormously from the course. As stated, as long as you’re prepared to have an open mind, and even substitute your beliefs in where Christian beliefs are mentioned, you won’t get offended in any way.

2. A 16 week night school (one night per week)

Course Cost
Fees are $750, inclusive of a comprehensive manual, all tuition and one professional counselling session. A $100 non-refundable deposit secures your place in the school. The remaining balance is due on the first day of the school.

An alternative instalment payment method (night school only) is available, which requires a $270 non-refundable deposit and $30 per week via direct debit (16 weeks).
